“Quality is Everyone’s Business” (QIEB) is SCORM 2.0 compliant can readily be added to your in-house corporate Learning Management System (LMS). It can also be accessed via HTML on any computer or smart device that has access to the internet. Very large organizations may license the entire course for one-on-one delivery.

Course Length

This online course is offered in five separate, self-paced modules. The entire course spans approximately 2-hours of total training time. The accompanying workbook offers about 2 hours of read and review of the online course. We strongly recommend that all course-takers read “The Ice Cream Maker” to help finish the training (one weekend reading). We also recommend that all managers and supervisors read “The Power of LEO” to augment and focus managerial aspects of the course.

Learner Friendly 

The entire course is highly interactive. It draws the learner into scenarios and application exercises that are designed to be completed both on-line, within each module, as well as off-line at the learner’s convenience. The optional book, “The Ice Cream Maker,” is written at below high school level and is easy for most readers to understand. “The Power of LEO” is also written at the high school level, but some of the management concepts may require some guidance.

High-Impact and Interactive

The entire course mixes text, graphics, and videos driven by an interactive narrator, making it as impactful as possible. Reinforcement of course lessons is encouraged by real-time sharing by all learners. The workbook is included with the course to help refresh key points.

Story-based Learning

Each module follows the Quality story through the eyes of the management, staff and customers of “Lucille’s Bakery” as they find ways to identify and solve problems, as well as understand and deal with quality and customer satisfaction issues with their “premier” products until they realize Quality belongs to everyone. “The Ice Cream Maker” is also a fictional story that offers more detail to the concepts introduced in the 2-hour course.

Experiential and Personal

Each module provides the learner with fun, informative and practical experiences, allowing them to apply their newly learned skills and knowledge back on the job to have “real” impact on their organizations. The workbook is designed to be used both a learning aid for the course and journal of experiences.
